Who can see the memorial?
You control visibility. Memorials can be shared publicly or kept private. Only people with the direct link can view a private memorial. Wallet prayer cards are private to each person who saves them. We never sell data, display ads, or share photos with third parties.
Will this last? What about in 20 years?
All Candela memorials are permanent. There is no expiration, no subscription to lapse. Your data is stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure. You can export everything at any time. If Candela ever ceases operations, we guarantee 90 days advance notice and a full data export window. This commitment is in our Terms of Service.
I’m not technical. Can I do this?
Yes. If you can upload a photo to your phone, you can create a memorial. Enter your loved one’s name, upload a photo, and the memorial is live. Everything else, from adding more photos to sharing stories and inviting family, happens at your own pace. Candela will be here whenever you’re ready.
