A proud resident of Mykonos, Greece, Maroulina’s life was a testament to perseverance, hard work, and a deep, abiding love for her family. Born on July 17, 1927, Maroulina’s early life was marked by hardship, a journey that forged in her a resilient spirit and an extraordinary capacity for joy, even in the face of adversity. She was the hardest worker one could ever meet, a truth evident in every aspect of her life. Whether she was meticulously cleaning, expertly cooking, baking with love, or diligently raking leaves, Maroulina was always keeping busy, her hands rarely still.
